Frequently asked questions

What counts as a request?
Every call to a rate or conversion endpoint counts as one request — including a multi-currency call that returns up to 20 quotes at once. Listing supported currencies is free and never counts.
What happens when I reach my monthly limit?
Further billable calls return HTTP 429 with a clear error code until the next period starts or you upgrade. We e-mail you at 75 %, 90 % and 100 % of your quota, so it never comes as a surprise.
Subscription or one-time payment?
Both. A subscription renews automatically each period and can be cancelled any time (you keep the plan until the end of the paid period). A one-time payment prepays 1–12 months with the same discount and simply ends — no renewal, nothing to cancel.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes, from the dashboard. Switching subscriptions is prorated, so you only pay the difference for the rest of the period.
Which payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (plus wallets such as Apple Pay or Google Pay where available), processed securely by Stripe. Card details never touch our servers. Every payment comes with a downloadable invoice.
Do you offer a free plan?
Yes — 500 requests every month, forever, with no card required. It uses the same API and data as the paid plans.
Do I need an invoice with company details or VAT?
Add your company name, address and VAT ID in the billing portal and they appear on every invoice. For Enterprise invoicing or volume quotes write to [email protected].
